Chearsley Parish Council

The Parish Council is responsible for the care and upkeep of the village and decides where to spend your money! If you want your opinion or ideas heard, or if you just want to find out what happens and how it works, please come along to the meetings.

There are 110 parishes in Aylesbury Vale’s area. Of these 83 are parish or town councils and 27 are parish meetings. Parishes provide the first tier of local government, in that they provide services at a village or town level. They are independent of district and county councils.
