DRAFT MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PARISH COUNCIL
HELD ON MONDAY MARCH 1ST 2010 IN THE VILLAGE HALL
1. PRESENT
Cllr Brown, Hytten, Mrs Dormer, Edmonds, Miss Gibson, Mrs Timberlake, Mrs Towell
8 members of the public, Parish Clerk.
2. APOLOGIES
Cllr Miss Gibson. District Cllr Smith.
3. PUBLIC SESSION (SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS) 15 MINUTES MAXIMUM
The matter of the development of the garden to the rear of the Old House in School Lane was raised by owners of adjoining properties in Old Plough Close. This will have a significant impact on these properties and there was concern about the access on Aylesbury Road. A site meeting was arranged for Saturday 6th March.
A complaint has been received about dogs being walked on the Millennium Recreation ground. A member of the public pointed out that there was no suitable place for people to exercise their dogs when they also had a buggy and small children. The Chairman agreed to look into the matter.

Agreed as a true record.
5. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
Lanes and Highways.
It was noted that the conditions of the roads going into village was still unsatisfactory. The Bridge at Cuddington was particularly dangerous.
Cllr Edmonds advised the meeting that action was being taken.

7. ORDERS FOR PAYMENT AND FINANCIAL MATTERS
8. PUBLIC SESSION (SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS
Road conditions were again raised. There are inadequate signs at the Cuddington Bridge site, and temporary repairs are not strong enough. Councillor Edmonds assured the meeting that matters were in hand. It was also noted that drains and ditches needed clearing.
Speeding in the village is still a problem. The Parish Council would consider requesting the loan of the Speed Activated Device again. The police are monitoring the situation. Cllr Edmonds advised the meeting that the speed limit review was in process for this area.
The litter pick was a success and it was agreed it should take place every three months.
The matter of dog fouling was raised again.
